Advanced Automotive of the Crystal Coast was founded by George and Angela Diaz in 2004. This is their third automotive business that they started from scratch. Their two previous businesses were both in Florida. After many years as floridians they decided to make a change, and raise their children in a smaller, less hectic community, so they sold their business and relocated. Advanced Automotive of the Crystal Coast is a family run business. They have found by keeping the staff small it enables better quality control and more personal and exceptional customer service. George has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry and still loves what he does. Angela does the office work and the Diaz children prefer to assist their dad. Brandon Diaz started working on cars and helping his dad at age 15. He joined the Navy in 2008 but whenever he comes home for a visit he puts his old uniform on, and spends a day at the shop getting his hands dirty. Amanda Diaz also started assisting her dad at age 15. She is now almost 20 and works at Advanced Automotive of the Crystal Coast 3 days a week. George and Angela know what a challenge it can be to find an automotive repair shop that is knowledgeable and trustworthy, especially when you own a european vehicle. They are also tired of dishonest, ill-informed repair shops. They believe that when you need service you should be able to find someone that you can build a confident trusting relationship with, and never feel the need to go anywhere else (just like the good old days). That is why they strive to be DIFFERENT. They will never lie to you or replace things you don't need. What they will do is a thorough inspection of your vehicle, and if necessary, explain what repairs are needed right away and what repairs that you can 'hold off' on until a later date. They want to provide eastern North Carolina with an honest, ethical Automotive Repair Shop that will perform the highest quality of work available, with care and integrity. All they ask is that you give them a chance to show you that they are unlike any other Automotive Repair Shop you've ever been to.
